1. Allowing for the common demands of the game, Mr. Wickham was therefore at leisure to talk to Elizabeth, and she was very willing to hear him, though what she chiefly wished to hear she could not hope to be told—the history of his acquaintance with Mr. Darcy.
“O‘yinning umumiy talablarini hisobga olgan holda, Mr. Wickham Elizabeth bilan suhbatlashishga vaqti bo‘ldi, va u uni tinglashga juda tayyor edi, garchi u asosan eshitishni xohlagan narsasini, ya’ni Mr. Darcy bilan tanishligi tarixini eshitishi umid qilinmas edi.”
3. This observation would not have prevented her from trying to talk to the latter, had they not been seated at an inconvenient distance; but she was not sorry to be spared the necessity of saying much.
“Agar ular noqulay masofaga o‘tirgan bo‘lmasalar, bu kuzatuv uni oxirigiga gapirishga urinishdan to‘xtatmas edi; lekin u ko‘p gapirishga majbur bo‘lmaganidan xafa bo‘lmadi.”
6. I talked to her repeatedly in the most serious manner, representing to her all the wickedness of what she had done, and all the unhappiness she had brought on her family.
“Men unga juda jiddiy tarzda takror-takror gapirdim, qilgan yomon ishlarini va oilasiga keltirgan barcha noxushliklarni tushuntirdim.”
8. Mrs. Bennet could not give her consent or speak her approbation in terms warm enough to satisfy her feelings, though she talked to Bingley of nothing else for half an hour; and when Mr. Bennet joined them at supper, his voice and manner plainly showed how really happy he was.
“Mrs. Bennet unga rozilik berolmadi yoki uni qoniqtiradigan iliq so‘zlar bilan tasdiqlay olmadi, garchi u yarim soat davomida Bingley bilan boshqa hech narsadan gaplashmagan bo‘lsa ham; va Mr. Bennet ular bilan kechki ovqatga qo‘shilganida, uning ovozi va harakati qanchalik baxtli ekanligini ko‘rsatdi.”
